In the letter, a copy of which URN has seen, Ntimba, says Monday has been interdicted from duty for failure to comply with section F-S of the Uganda Public Service Standing Orders 2010 thus leading public service into disrepute.
The Kabale District Assistant Records Officer, Aloysius Monday has been interdicted. He is accused of among others absence from duty without permission, insubordination and refusal to comply with his posting instructions.
Monday's interdiction is contained in a leaked letter dated August 08th, 2018 signed by Kabale District Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Edmond Ntimba.
The letter is copied to Kabale District Chairperson, Resident District Commissioner, Chief Finance Officer Kabale, Principal Internal Auditor, Principal Human Resource Officer and Secretary Kabale District Service Commission.
In the letter, a copy of which URN has seen, Ntimba, says Monday has been interdicted from duty for failure to comply with section (F-S) of the Uganda Public Service Standing Orders 2010 thus leading public service into disrepute.
Monday is also accused of failure to handover office when he was transferred as records officer to Kamuganguzi Health Center III in Kamuganguzi Sub County. According to Ntimba, Monday's whereabouts are not known ever since he was transferred.
He also says Monday was charged by Kabale Chief Magistrate, Julius Kyaka Borore for malicious damage, criminal tress pass and threatening violence on July 11th 2018. He also accused of threatening to kill his biological mother over a land dispute.
Ntimba says the officer is barred from stepping in office until the criminal cases against him are disposed of by court.
//Cue in: "Interdiction is one…
Cue out: …has done."//
Attempts by URN to speak to Monday were futile as his known mobile was switched off. These are not the only accusations against Monday.
In March 2017, Monday was picked up for impersonating a magistrate and soliciting money from different people with promised of helping them win cases before court.
