Karamoja Museum, one of the would be key tourist attractions to the region has been neglected by the authorities.

The Museum that hosts several samples of the rich culture of Karamoja has remained unutilized.

It takes weeks before the museum hosts any tourist. Since its opening in 2012, nothing much has been added to the museum built by the French embassy.

Peter Apaja, a Curator at the museum, says both the local government and Ministry of Tourism Antiquities have kept silent on the development of the museum.

He says there are no funds to promote the museum to potential tourists, which has kept backdoors.
