Eling also accused the CAO of mismanaging the coffee seeding distribution exercise in the district, mismanagement the issue of land for the construction of Aduku seed SS, failure to address the welfare of the council and challenging the powers of the Executive on budgeting in the media among others.
Kwania District councillors want the Chief
Administrative Officer, Albina Awor transferred for alleged misconduct. Trouble
for the CAO started when LC V Chairperson, Geoffrey Alex Ogwal Adyebo took
office. The two have been clashing behind the
scene not until Friday when the matter came to light.
On Friday, the leader of
government business, Geoffrey Eling tabled a motion before the council, in
which he accused Awor of failing to avail the district chairperson of details
of all district accounts, boycotting Executive Meetings and failure to organize
and cater for the welfare of the district chairperson and his Executive.
Eling also accused the CAO of mismanaging
the coffee seeding distribution exercise in the district, mismanagement the
issue of land for the construction of Aduku seed SS, failure to address the welfare of council and challenging the powers of the Executive on budgeting in
the media among others.
He moved a motion that the council rejects the services of the CAO and refer
her to the appointing authority.

On the Shillings 800m for coffee seedlings, Eling asked Awor to sign the document
authorizing the payment of the supplier, saying she should be held accountable
if she fails to do so.
Geoffrey Alex Ogwal, the Kwania district LC V Chairperson, said that he has for
long tried to plead with the CAO to work on his dilapidated office in vain.

Awor, the Kwania dismissed all the accusations leveled against her and
described them as malicious propaganda by some politicians. She blamed the tension
between her and the executive on a communication gap and greed for money.

Christopher Agum, the speaker of Kwania District put the matter to a vote. Fifteen
of the 26 councillors voted in favour of the motion while 11 voted against it. Agum
said the council will write to the appointing authority about the council

The council has stopped Awor from any financial transactions. Kwania
district local government became operation on July 1st, 2018 after
being curved from Apac district.
