Kyetume FC has failed to earn a single point from three
consecutive games after losing 1-0 to KCCA during their home game at the Njeru
based FUFA technical center on Tuesday.
Bright Anukani scored KCCA’s lone goal in the 55th minute. Early
last week, Kyetume lost their first game 0-1 to SC Villa after the departure of
their head Coach Charles Mbabazi.
He ran in trouble over poor performance after the team’s decisive
loss to Mbarara FC. Kyetume further lost 0-2 in an away game
against URA FC before falling prey to KCCA FC on Tuesday.
Alex Isabirye, the caretaker coach of Kyetume FC admits that
they have internal challenges, which are frustrating his team from winning. He, however, says the responsible stakeholders are drafting the necessary solutions
needed to better their performance.
Isabirye stresses that the mistakes committed by the players
while on the pitch can only be ironed out through specialized training, which is
not possible because of the tight fixture. He explained that he is incapacitated to attend to individual
players’ shortcomings because of the limited time.
Isabirye however, reveals
that he has a strategy of ensuring that Kyetume betters its’ performance in the second round of the season since the first round break will give him ample time
to skill the players.
//Cue in: “The truth is…
Cue out…build on that,”.
KCCA’s head coach, Mike Mutebi says that his team has
mastered the art of exhibiting calmness while at the pitch, which has enabled
them triumph against their opponents in most of the games.
