Lightning has struck dead one person in Agago district.
The incident happened at about 5 pm on Thursday during a downpour in Odom
village, Adillang Sub County.
The deceased has been identified as 13-year-old Ivan Ebong, a Primary Seven
pupil of Lala Primary school.
Santos Ocan, the Adilang Sub-county LCV Councilor says that the children were
among 15 others who had been playing football when lightning struck. He
identified the injured as Alldo Otto 13 and another only identified as Emmanuel
aged 12.
Ongom says the children were rushed to Adillang health centre III for
medical treatment.
In May, one person was also killed and two others critically injured after
being struck by lightning from their home in Corner village in Loliya Parish in
Orom Sub County.
