The pastor of a the Kamwokya based World United Church International has been arrested for writing a love letter to a 15-year-old girl.

The parents of the girl dragged Sam Olipa to Kiira Road police station after she presented the said letter to them.

Olipa admitted having written the letter saying he felt God had chosen the young girl to be his future wife who would help him achieve his vision of building a 30,000-seater church.

Olipa said he was under pressure from his parents and foreign sponsors who insisted that he had to get married before they could support his church. He maintained that he is still a man of integrity despite the said incident.
