Police at Laroo Division in Gulu Municipality are holding a man for arson. Dennis Oyet, was arrested in connection with his alleged involvement in the torching of a kisosk that belongs to his estranged wife. Preliminary investigations show that Oyet doused the kiosk with the petrol and then set it on fire destroying goods worth three million shillings. The incident happened around midnight at Pece Pawel in Pece Division last night. Oyet was however burnt in the face and legs by the blazing flames. Oyet's motive for his action is not yet clear. Residents in the area say that the destroyed Kiosk was jointly owned by Oyet's enstranged Lover only identified as Evelyn and her brother. Police at Laroo Police Post, say Oyet will be transferred to Gulu Central Police Station.
