One of the health workers told our reporter on condition of anonymity that she has never secured accomodation from the time she was posted  to the facility, three years ago. She says that due to lack of accommodation she is forced to spend up to 5,000 Shillings everyday on transport from Kabanyonyi, Buhara sub-county to the health centre.

Kabale District Health Officer Alfred Besigensi attributes the problem to lack of funds. He says that once funds are available, the facility will be considered for the construction of staff houses.
