Mbale district covid-19 task force has asked the business community for support to boost the fight against covid-19.

The call by the task force comes at a time when the task force is struggling
to fuel emergency vehicles and feeding people under quarantine.
Stella Kisoro Abigail, the Assistant District Health Officer in Charge of
Maternal asked the business community to give back to their customers since
their health means a lot to their businesses. Abigail requested the task force to equip the isolation centre.

Area Maize Millers Association rallied his colleagues to extend a helping hand
to the vulnerable people.

Wamulugwa, of Generous Trading and Investments, said that the only contribution
the business community can make is to donate towards the fight to help the
professionals combat the spread of the disease.
