A woman who was went missing in Kigorobya II Cell, Hoima
district has been found dead.
Sauya Alinaitwe 23, a resident of Kigorobya II Cell in South East Ward in
Kigorobya town council went missing in September.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says that the skeletal
remains of the deceased were discovered by residents on Friday in uncompleted house a few
meters from Kigorobya Church of Uganda Primary School.
According to Hakiza, investigations into the alleged kidnap and murder of the
deceased are still on-going.

the remains were recovered not very far from the home where the deceased was

the disappearance, police arrested Amisi Kwezi, the LC I Chairperson of
Kigorobya II Cell and three others. Her husband Silver Kuniira
also fled the home.
