Muntu to Ntungamo: Don’t Just Vote Me Out of Sectarianism

The Alliance for National Transformation, Presidential Candidate Gen. Gregg Mugisha Muntu, has asked the people of Ntungamo district not to vote for him if they don’t trust him for the presidency.

He asked them not to use his born in Ntungamo as the reason to vote him.

He said if the people of Ntungamo feel he is the right person and committed to taking the country in the right direction then they should vote him.

“People of Ntungamo do not vote for me because I come from Ntungamo, vote for me if you feel within your hearts that you can trust me because I can be trusted,” He said.

Muntu said he has a legacy and boosted of never stealing taxpayers’ money even when he was the army commander of the army that had no systems.

He told his supporters that once voted into power, Ntungamo will be one of the most respected districts.

Unlike other presidential candidates, like Robert Kyagulanyi, Henry Tumukunde, who have faced the aggressive security forces while having processions, Muntu had a peaceful procession through Ntungamo municipality with about 100 Boda Boda riders accompanying him, and as he opened ANT offices in Ntungamo municipality.

Muntu continues with his campaign in Ntungamo on the 12th November and will meet his supporters in Kajara and Rushenyi counties and later proceed to Rwamapara and Mitooma districts.
