Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has warned Bunyangabu district authorities against feeding
him on lies especially on issues related to service delivery in the area.

Primary School grounds in Bunyangabu district on Friday.
The warning stemmed from the submission of Adolf Mwesige, the
Defense and Veterans Affairs Minister who also doubles as the Bunyangabu County

Mwesige quickly admitted that it was false that all areas had
been connected to electricity but said efforts are underway to ensure they get
connected. Museveni said it was a very wrong move by the minister to show that
all is well in the district.

Ruhweeza explained that the roads are always repaired but the district
lacks gravel, an excuse the president rejected and tasked him to ensure all
roads are repaired immediately.
Museveni was also pissed off by other issues like the rampant
theft of public resources and bad agricultural practices and tasked the
responsible officers to rectify before he takes action.
At the same
event, the chairperson of National Women Council, Faridah Kibowa decried the little
funding to Uganda Women Entrepreneurship Programme - UWEP.
According to Kibowa, since the program started in 2015, only 9300
women groups have received funding to a tune of Shillings 37.8 billion yet the
demand is too high.
