The head coach of Uganda Premier League side, Nyamityobora FC has said his team will improve when the second round kicks off.

Asaph Mwebaze told URN after securing one point in the 2- all draw with Bidco FC at the Njeru technical center in Buikwe district on Thursday that they are determined to battle their way out from the relegation zone.

The home side Bidco FC scored through Richard Wandyaka and Willis Otongo, while Mohammed Yiga and Ibrahim Dada made sure Nyamityobora pickd the away draw.

Speaking to journalists after match Mwebaze says that the away draw has been an eye opener for his team to perform better in other matches. "We have not been performing well ever since the season began, but after battling to earn a draw in the second half of this match the players look energized and ready to perform,” he added.

The coach said his team will be more competitive in the second round of the season to avoid demotion.

Nyamityobora FC are placed 14th on the log with only 9 points ahead of Ndejje University FC and Paidha Black Angels. KCCA FC finished the first round top of the table with 36 points, while defending champions Vipers SC with 29 points have two games to complete round 1.
