Onduparaka FC Defeats Kyetume 7-1 in UPL Match

Onduparaka Football Club on Friday defeated Kyetume FC 7:1 in the Uganda Premier League Match at the Green Light Stadium in Arua town.

The visitors who are currently 7th in the UPL table exerted immense pressure on the home side in the first 25 minutes forcing Onduparaka Head Coach Livingstone Mbabazi to make two changes within the first 20 minutes.

Onduparaka scored a goal in the 20th minute, but Kyetume equalized in the 40th minute.

However, in the second half, Onduparaka players turned the heat on Kyetume after they scored the second goal in the 52nd minute, and the third in the 60th minute further weakening the visitors, forcing their fans to walk out of the stadium.

Onduparaka’s Maliamungu Julius and Jamal Malisi scored three goals each.

Onduparaka FC fans flooded Greenlight stadium with wild celebrations after the final whistle.

The win takes Onduparaka FC to the third position 3 with 23 points on the UPL Table while Kyetume have 16 points in the 7th position.
