A village chairperson in Pader district is at large for the murder of his wife
and injuring his son on Sunday night. The suspect is Bosco Nyeko, the LC I Chairperson
Larego A in Pakeyo parish in Laguti Sub-County in Pader district.

Sub-County, identifies the deceased Lilly Ato, a mother of one child. According
to Mugisha, the suspect used an axed to kill his wife and cut his son only
identified as Ojok, who is currently receiving treatment at Jaflo, a private
clinic at Atanga Town Council.
He attributes the incident to

District has condemned the incident describing it as barbaric. He urges people
to embrace dialogue as the most appropriate mean of addressing their grievances
other than resorting to violence. He appealed to the police to ensure that they
look for the perpetrator to face justice for his actions.

Diocese expressed shock that even leaders are perpetrators of violence against
women. He appealed to leaders to desist from this act, respect their women and
preach words of co-existent among couples.
