Pallisa Archdeacon Bids Farewell to Christians

Reverend Daniel Etatai, the outgoing Archdeacon of Pallisa has bid farewell to Christians from Nyaguo, Okunguro, Kachinga, Agule and Odusai Anglican churches.  Reverend Etatai is set to retire on December 31st, 2017 after serving Pallisa Archdeaconry for six years.

While bidding Christians farewell at St. Peter's Church of Uganda in Agule parish on Sunday, Reverend Etatai highlighted some of his achievements as the construction of new churches, conducting mass marriages and the elevation of Butebo and St. Peters Church of Uganda Agule Parishes to Archdeaconry status.

He hailed Christians for supporting his programs, saying he couldn't achieve much without their input. Reverend Etatai also highlighted anti-social behavior such as greed, evil practices and the negative attitude by some Christians towards paying offertory as some of the challenges affecting the development of the church in the area.

He asked Christians to keep off evil practices and embrace the spirit of love and reconciliation if they wish to become true children of God. Reverend Etatai noted that although he is retiring in body, he will remain active in spirit since he will be lecturing at theological training school in Lumino in Busia districts.
