Speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among has said that Parliament business will end
before 6:00 pm to ensure the safety of Members of Parliament.
Among was speaking during Thursday’s plenary sessions following the twin bomb
explosions at Parliamentary Avenue and Central Police Station (CPS) that has so
far left 7 people dead and 26 injured. Parliamentary sittings have often ended after 7:00 pm.
The Clerk to
Parliament, Adolf Mwesige Kasaija suspended the plenary on Tuesday following the
