Local artists and bar owners in Kwania are on spot for organizing music concerts amidst a ban due to COVID-19.

The concerts were suspended in March 2020 as the government announced measures to fight the spread of COVID-19, and while restrictions were announced on almost all other sectors, the entertainment centers remain closed, with no activity allowed.

The government said that these will be open after an increase in the uptake of COVID-19 vaccines. However, business is as normal in Kwania as local artists and promoters are organizing concerts despite the suspension.

On Sunday evening several happening places within Aduku town council in Kwania district were seen operating with mini concerts taking place. URN brings you the story in pictorial form.
