Nansolia was born in January 1932 in Bubandi Sub County, Bundibugyo District to the late Erinest Kitika and Jorolina Nasisiliya.

The Queen Mother of Obudingiya Bwa Bwamba-OBB Rhoda Nansolia Kawamara was laid to rest on Sunday laid next to her late husband Yeremiya Kawamara at Booma grounds in Bundibugyo Town.
Her late husband together with Peter Mupalya and Isaya Mukirania walked out of the Tooro Kingdom Parliament in March 1962 protesting marginalisation by the Batooro.
They led the Rwenzururu Movement that gave birth to the creation of Bundibugyo and Kasese Districts in 1974.
She is recognided for supporting her husband during this struggle and mobilising other women to resist Tooro's dominance over the Babwisi/Bamba.
