It is home to hundreds of remains of war weapons used or abandoned during the 19th May 2004 attack on Lukodi IDP camp by the Lord`s Resistance Army (LRA) rebels which left at least 60 people dead.

It is home to hundreds of remains of war weapons used or
abandoned during the 19th May 2004 attack on Lukodi IDP camp by the
Lord`s Resistance Army (LRA) rebels which left at least 60 people dead.
It is also a place where remains of the victims of the
Lukodi Massacre are kept; among them are voters’ cards, details of each victim,
their properties, what they used for defence and other cultural items.
Constructed and launched in December 2018 by the Foundation for Justice and
Development Initiatives (FJDI) in a block donated by Lukodi Primary School, the
Centre receives visitors from all walks of life however it is relying on
donations from well-wishers.
The survivors of the Lukodi Massacre want the government to
elevate the Centre into a museum in order to generate income.
