President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Thursday afternoon delivered to Parliament the State of Nation Address.

The sitting chaired by Speaker of Parliament, Anita Annet Among was attended by several dignitaries including the Speaker of Parliament of Malawi, Catherine Gotani Hara, Jemma Nunu Kumba, the Speaker of Transitional National Legislative Assembly of South Sudan and Lukas Sinimbo Muha, the Chairperson of National Council of Namibia's Parliament.

During his address at the Kololo Independence grounds, President Museveni warned actors who are working for the interests of foreigners. He said that these are both corrupt and traitors and that government is monitoring their activities.

“We should aggressively expose those who work for foreign interests and are always diverting our people through the media to the interest of foreign parasites,” he said.

Museveni also warned public servants and political leaders over corruption. Uganda Radio Network (URN) followed the event at Kololo Independence Grounds and now brings you pictures.
