Kaguta Museveni on Thursday afternoon delivered to Parliament the State of Nation
Address.
The sitting chaired
by Speaker of Parliament, Anita Annet Among was attended by several dignitaries
including the Speaker of Parliament of Malawi, Catherine Gotani Hara, Jemma
Nunu Kumba, the Speaker of Transitional National Legislative Assembly of South
Sudan and Lukas Sinimbo Muha, the Chairperson of National Council of Namibia's
Parliament.
During his address at the Kololo Independence grounds,
President Museveni warned actors who are working for the interests of
foreigners. He said that these are both corrupt and traitors and that
government is monitoring their activities.
“We should
aggressively expose those who work for foreign interests and are always
diverting our people through the media to the interest of foreign parasites,”
he said.
Museveni also warned
public servants and political leaders over corruption.
