In Kampala, the rain started as early as 5: 00 am and went on for several hours. It was a nightmare for candidates in the day section with many arriving awfully wet and shivering from coldness. Even after arriving at school, the candidates remained in the cold as they were seen on verandahs as they could not be allowed to access the classes before being checked.

The morning downpour in Kampala soaked several candidates sitting their Primary leaving Examination.
Primary seven candidates braved the early morning rains to make it to their respective examination centers in time for their Primary leaving Examinations-PLE.

Due to the rain, many candidates arrived past 9:00 am, which was the official starting time of the examination time. Lucky enough, the examinations had not started as the distribution process was also disrupted by the rains.
