More than 60 houses have been destroyed by strong winds at Munami village in Nakasongola district leaving over 300 people homeless. This is the third time disasters befell the residents.

They were brutally evicted from Kasenyi landing site in Lwampanga Sub County over a land dispute with Nakasongola Army Barracks before they relocated to Munami village.

Early this year while at Munami village, they were displaced by rising water from Lake Kyoga.

They reconstructed the semi-permanent houses at highlands but now the strong winds have again destroyed them living them crying foul.

Uganda Radio Network brings you the destruction in pictures.
