There are 18,103,603 registered voters and 34,684 polling stations across the country. According to the Electoral Commission (EC), male voters constitute 47.5 per cent while Females are 52.5 per cent.

Ugandans on Thursday Januaru 14, turned up at different polling stations to make their choice in regard to the next President and Members of Parliament.

There are 18,103,603 registered voters and 34,684 polling stations across the country. According to the Electoral Commission (EC), male voters constitute 47.5 per cent while Females are 52.5 per cent.

At the different polling stations in Kampala, voters and voting materials arrived early but voting did not start on time. The Electoral Commission guidelines stipulate that voting begins at 7:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm.
