He added that the suspects will be presented in court on Monday.
Plice in Kasese have arrested 20 people on allegations of inciting violence. The suspects, who were armed with pangas, hoes, and other tools, allegedly confronted cattle keepers in Kabukero village, Karusandara Sub County, demanding that they vacate the land.

Last week, a group mainly composed of cultivators stormed the office of the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) in Kasese, seeking government intervention in a decade-long land conflict.
They accuse the government of neglecting their concerns and failing to address the ongoing dispute.
Tensions have been escalating due to a boundary dispute between the Bakonzo and Basongora communities over 1,100 acres of land carved out of Mubuku Prison in 2017.
The land was initially allocated to resettle Basongora pastoralists and later a section of dispossessed Bakonzo.
The latest clashes erupted when a group of Bakonzo, armed with spears and pangas, attacked Basongora pastoralists grazing cattle, further escalating the long-standing conflict. During the raid, seven cows were reportedly looted
