FC has stopped BUL FC with a 2:0 victory in the Star-Times Uganda Premier
League match at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
The game started at a low pace with both teams
sharing possession without any serious attack from both clubs.
The police team tried
pushing for an early goal when the forward Johnson Odongo tried a shot in the 20th
minute through a pass from Tony Mawejje but failed to hit his target.
hosts also tried unlocking BUL’s defence with striker Brian Muruuli attempting
a volley kick but he too failed to hit the target. The game ended in a goalless
draw during half time. Bul’s FC lead striker Musa Esenu missed a chance in the 63rd
minute to put his team in the lead.

Mawejje tried to give the hosts a lead through a spots kick in the 18 yards but
found BUL’s custodian, Abdul Kimera alert. However, Police FC in-form forward
Odongo managed to unlock Bul’s FC defence with a clear shot in the 68th
the police squad, which doubled their lead in the 76th minute with good
finishing from forward, Herman Wasswa who came in as a substitute for Muwadda
Mawejje credit to Odongo with a good assist. This sealed the fate of the
visiting Bul’s FC.
