Police Investigate Abduction of Nansana Teenage Girl

An eyewitness, who declined to be named, says she saw the teenager being forced in a Toyota Premio vehicle that was parked a short distance from her parent’s home before it sped off.

Nansana police are investigating the disappearance of 14-year-old Hanifah Nabumba who went missing on December 6, 2020.

The teenager reportedly disappeared from her parent’s home in Nansana East 1 B (Kabumbi) in Nansana Division around 3pm.  

  

Police was notified about the matter on December 7, 2020.

An eyewitness, who declined to be named, says she saw the teenager being forced in a Toyota Premio vehicle that was parked a short distance from her parent’s home before it sped off.  

  The Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, says they have commenced the hunt for the Nabumba’s kidnappers.

Police appeal to anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of Nabumba to pass it to the nearest police station. This isn’t the only case of abduction registered this month.

    Three infants were also taken by a cobbler who pretended to be taking them to a playground. However, the police managed to rescue the minors.
