Police in Kasese have launched investigations into two separate incidents of murder that occurred on Boxing Day. The first incident involved the death of Eliphazi Kambale, aged 25, who was stabbed to death while at Go Down Vegas Bar and Lodge in Majengo, Kasese Municipality. The murder reportedly followed a misunderstanding with a colleague.
The second incident took place in Rughendabara Town Council, where Godwin Mubere, also aged 25, was stabbed while at a local bar in Sauni Central. Rwenzori East police spokesperson Nelson Tumushime confirmed the incidents, adding that police in the region have embarked on investigations to establish the actual cause of these events.
