ASP Charles Okello, the Kiryandongo DPC who visited the scene had previously said Angiro could have dozed off while driving, and in the process, veered from his lane.
The incident comes barely a week after another accident that claimed 23 lives when a Gaagaa bus collided with a beer truck a few kilometres away.
Causing bodily injuries and death as a result of reckless driving attracts a jail term of not less than five years and not more than ten years as a deterring mechanism for errant drivers on roads.
