Police have whisked
off Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, the National Unity Platform-NUP presidential
candidate shortly after his nominations.
Police intercepted Kyagulanyi shortly after
his nomination and ordered him to disembark from his vehicle a few meters from
the nomination center and be escorted in vain.
As a result,
the officers smashed the windscreen of Kyagulanyi’s and battled to grab him
from the hands of his supporters and security team. They wrestled with the police officers as they
tried to prevent the officers from taking their boss.
