The poor state of the roads in the area was revealed on Wednesday during the launch of the
construction of inter-connectivity roads in Kagyani and Nsiika town councils.
The 50-kilometre roads will be constructed in phases with first-class
murram starting this year.
The contract for construction of the roads was
awarded to the Leading Edge Company and it will last one year.
The roads to be constructed include Karogoto-Ahamudara-Kamukaki, Bwoga-KIbate, Kikondera-Kidandari-Kanunka and Kidandari-Iterero making
a length of 15.0Kms with funding from Ministry of works under
the inter-connectivity Roads Improvement Project.
