Samuel Mpimpaza Hashaka has officially taken over as Bukwo
Resident District Commissioner, having been transferred recently from Karenga district
in Karamoja Sub region, where he has worked for several years.
He is among the batch of RDCs who have recently been reshuffled
and is known for his fight against corruption especially in the district
of Abim and the entire northern region.

While handing over instrument of office in Bukwo today during a
handover ceremony, the outgoing RDC Esther Cherop implored Hashaka to be
tough on political and technical leaders who are corrupt or frustrate government
