The Crested cranes head coach, Sheryl Botes, says that squads of national teams are sustainably receiving timely boosts from talented players sourced from within the school football setups.
Speaking at the sidelines of the U17 women team at the Njeru based FUFA technical center on Sunday, Botes said schools are raising remarkable stars, whose talents shade clear light on the future of the sport in the country.
In regards to the U17 women's team, which has pitched camp at FUFA technical center, awaiting their next week's world cup qualifier game against Namibia, Botes says that this 39 member squad has been sourced from the structures of school football, which she cites as a ray of hope for excelling sporting careers.
She says that a 25 member squad has already been selected, with all the players showing exceptional skills and readiness to anchor through professional football careers.

Botes notes that school football has made it easy for them to have enough squads for all age grade teams, since different talents are routinely nurtured in organized school setups across the country.
Botes says that the availability of talents readies them to competitively feature in international football tournaments with confidence, since there are enough squads whenever duty calls.
She says that, such plentiful pools of player are key in the general transformation and professionalism of the sport at various levels.

In regards to next Thursday U17 women world cup qualifier game against Namibia, with both legs being played at the Hamz stadium, Nakivubo on 16th and 19th, respectively, Botes says that the mood in the camp is epic, with young players, most of whom are featuring at such high stake games for the first time, full of optimism.
The winner of this game on aggregate will faceoff with Kenya for the next qualifier phase of this world cup tourney.
Botes discloses that they have already paired up players with the necessary combinations and a final squad for this encounter shall be announced.
She has called upon all Ugandans and football lovers across the country to throng Nakivubo stadium in big numbers, a stance she says will boost the girls' ability to show outstanding performance at the international stage, amidst full support of their own.
