The Judiciary on Friday held the Uganda Law Year 2024 event at which the Chief Justice of Uganda, Hon. Justice Alfonse Chigamoy Owiny - Dollo Chief Justice /Head of Court outlined some of the achievements and challenges from the previous Law Year. The Vice President of Uganda, Jessica Alupo represented President Museveni. The event was also attended by former Chief Justice Samuel Hon. Justice Waako Wambuzi and Hon Bert Katureebe. Former Speaker of Parliament and Vice President of Uganda also graced the occasion. The event was also attended by the Uganda Law Society President and some of his members. Some lawyers had suggested that the Uganda Law Society should have boycotted it in protest. We captured some of the moments on camera.
