Three suspects are in custody at the Kikuube Central Police
Station in connection with the murder of Shadrack Kwesiga, a 30-year-old
resident of Kigarama Cell, Kyentale Ward in Hoima East Division. The suspects
include Zakayo Wamani, a 55-year-old businessman from Kinogozi Trading Center;
John Odongo, a 23-year-old from Mpigiza Village in Kinogozi Parish, Buhimba
Sub-County; and Alex Muhanuzi, a 25-year-old from Kyentale Ward in Hoima East
Division.

attacked Kwesiga, beating him to death before dumping his body by the roadside.
The police were notified promptly and began their
investigation. Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson,
confirmed the arrests and stated that the suspects were immediately taken to
Kikuube Police Station, where they are currently held on murder charges. The
deceased's body was transported to the Kikuube Health Center IV mortuary for a
postmortem examination.
