URN couldn’t get a comment from the officers guarding Bisaka’s headquarters on
why they arrested the journalists and ordered them to delete the footage they
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police spokesperson told URN
he wasn’t aware about the arrest and detention of journalists.
Bisaka’s purported death have been doing rounds on social media since Monday.
However, there has been no official confirmation from his handlers, family,
government or followers.
By Tuesday evening, security had sealed off the entrance to Bisaka’s
headquarters. Currently, no one is allowed to access the area unlike in the
past where people could freely access it.
