Three people have been killed in an accident along the Kampala- Gulu Highway.
The incident occurred on Tuesday at 11:30a.m when a truck registration number UAN 533U failed to break and over turned several times near Karuma Bridge.
The dead include the driver Ronald Ejalu and two passengers, Hussein Kafeero and Ronald Ijalo who died instantly.
According to police spokesperson Emillian Kayima, the truck from Nwoya district was overloaded with charcoal and some of the passengers were seated on top of the charcoal.
