Abdul Mubangizi 45 who was operating at Embassy stage in Kiboga town was
hired on Tuesday night at around 11:30 pm by unknown passengers.
After riding a few meters from Kiboga town
towards Kampala road, the thugs turned against Mubangizi and hit him on the
head. He died instantly.
His body was discovered lying in a pool of blood by the roadside while his
Bajaj Motorcycle registration number UEV 109J was also abandoned by the roadside.

Embassy Boda-Boda stage where the deceased was operating from has expressed
concern about the rampant killings of their members. He wants security agencies
in the district to strengthen foot patrols.
Lawrence Nsubuga the defence secretary
for Kiboga Boda Boda riders Association faults security operatives for not
doing enough to curb down the high crime rate in Kiboga town.
He says at least two to three Motorcycles are being robbed but no efforts
are made by the police to recover the motorcycles.
Charles Magora the officer in charge of
Kiboga central police station cautioned Boda Boda riders to be security
conscious and desist from operating during the wee hours of the night.
He says police have already launched investigations
into the murder of Mubangizi.
