Glanser Berry starts today at Masaka High Court.
Bernhard Glanser Berry was in April committed to the High Court by
Masaka Chief Magistrate Deogratius Ssejemba to face 28 counts of defilement and

Records before court indicate that in 2007 and in November 2013 at Mwena
Landing site in Kalangala district Glanser abused the power and authority he
had over the minors that were under his care and sexually assaulted
On Wednesday, the Masaka Regional State Attorney Aisha Naluze told Masaka
High court judge Justice Dr Winfred Nabisinde that investigations into the
matter are complete and prosecution is ready to proceed with the trial.
“We are ready to proceed with hearing of the case and ready to
provide the defense with full disclosure of our case if court grants us an
opportunity so that we can have an expeditious trial of this case” Naluze
Justice Nabisinde said that due to the urgency of the case its hearing can be
fixed in the on-going criminal session since state is ready to proceed with the

and since there is no legal issue that bars this case to be fixed in the on-going
criminal session I hereby order the prosecution to complete its disclosure of
