Two people in Kakumiro District have been arrested for murder.
The suspects Experito Ssesanga 25 and Vicent Ssebuufu 50, allegedly killed Emmanuel Hakizimana 34, a resident of Katehe village on Wednesday.
According to police, the suspects while in a bar in Kibijjo village picked a quarrel with the deceased for unknown reasons. They reportedly hit him on the head with a blunt object.
Fabiona Byaruhanga, the LC1 Chairperson says, that residents heard Hakizimana screaming for help.
They mobilized to take him to Kakumiro Health Center IV for treatment but died on the way.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson said that the deceased sustained deep cuts on the head and both hands.
