The accident occurred at around 11.pm on Saturday night at Ngogoro village about 70 kilometers into Luwero district, along the Kampala-Gulu highway, after two Salon cars collided.

A Toyota Premio Registration Number UAS.658K which was coming
from Gulu is said to have lost control before colliding with another Reg. No.
UAV.620X which was coming from the opposite direction.
Luwero District Police Commander -DPC Felix Mugizi has
identified the deceased persons as Rose Mary Bagonza who was the driver of a
Premio Reg. No. UAV.620X and Margret Odongo who was a passenger in the same
vehicle. They are both residents of Nakasongola.

by Rose Mary Bagonza are; Babirye Dorothy and Kyolaba Harriet.

Spokesperson, the driver of the vehicle Reg. No. UAS 658K which was coming from
Gulu side, took to their heels after the accident.
