Two women in Hoima are in trouble in connection to the death of a Rwandan national. The suspects are Jovia Tumwesige and Meron Musimenta, both attendants at Go Down Bar in Katikara Village in Kyabigambire Sub County in Hoima district.

He died instantly resulting from the injuries inflicted on him. Police swung into action and picked up the two suspects who are in custody at Hoima Central Police Station.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, says the postmortem conducted on the deceased shows that he died of excessive bleeding caused by the injuries inflicted on him. Twizerimana has been working as a casual laborer on a farm in Bulindi.
According to Hakiza, the suspects will appear in court for murder once police investigations are complete.

He warns residents against excessive alcohol consumption, saying it sparks chaos that leads to loss of lives. According to Hakiza, the death of Twizerimana could have started when all the parties were under the influence of alcohol.
