The Tourism Ministry launches a new competition through which Ugandans will be engaged to produce a logo that will be used to market Uganda as the best tourist destination.
Through the competition, members of the public are invited to submit entries that will visualize and explain the meaning of the pearl of Africa as well as the opportunities that exist for tourists. The winning submission will win UGX 10 Million.
Vivian Lyazi, a Principal Tourism Officer says branding Uganda will truly promote the country as the ideal tourist destination and translate into increased revenues for the country.
She says those who have artistic skills must take the chance to enhance Uganda’s image abroad. .
