The body of an unidentified man has been found in Lolachat Sub County in Nabilatuk district.    The body was recovered on Thursday by residents of Ngorukudong village.

The deceased was wearing a blue t-shirt and a black bangle around the neck with fresh wounds on the right thigh.

Although residents say the deceased was a cattle rustlers mistakenly shot by his accomplices who thought they were killing a community member in Ngorukudong village, Mt Moroto Police Spokesperson Michael Longole, says investigations indicate he could have been killed by a mob as many stones were found near the body.

‘’Although we appreciate the residents for reporting this incident to the Police and providing some basic information to help in the investigation, there is a need for sincerity among the community members in respect to this incident’’ Longole said.

In May, the body of an unidentified man apparently in his 20s was found by  residents who were tracking thieves in Looyarakamwae village, Rupa sub-county Moroto. It was lying in the river with pieces of wood that the killers had used to carry it to the spot.
