Wife, Children Arrested for Alleged Killing of Family Head

The suspects are Medias Behemurwaki, who is wife to the deceased and two of her sons Ronald Talemwa and Francis Wamani, all residents of Mburamaizi village in Kinyarugonjo Sub County in Kagadi district.
Julius Hakiza,the Albertine region police spokesperson confirmed arrest and detention of the three family members.
A 53-year-old man has been killed by his wife and two children following a land wrangle in Kagadi district. The deceased has been identified as Kasule Mbabazi, a resident of Mburamaizi village in Kinyarugonjo Sub County in Kagadi district.  

The suspects are Medias Behemurwaki, who is wife to the deceased and two of her sons Ronald Talemwa and Francis Wamani, all residents of Mburamaizi village in Kinyarugonjo Sub County in Kagadi district.  It is alleged that the suspects hacked Mbabazi to death on Sunday.

At the time of his death, Mbabazi was living alone in his house following a misunderstanding with his wife.    

Karaveri Sserunjoji, the LC I Chairperson says that Mbabazi’s body was discovered in his house on Monday morning.  He adds that on several occasions, the wife and the two children accused the deceased of allegedly denying them a chance to sell part of the family land.

On Sunday, a casual labourer in Kikuube turned against his employer stabbing him to death.

The suspect Jackson Tushabomwe, a resident of Bwera village in Butoole parish Kyanagwali Sub County in Kikuube district severely stabbed his employer, John Turyamureba, a resident of the same area. The suspect has been working on the deceased’s farm in the same village.  

It is alleged that the two developed a quarrel over unknown reasons and in the process; Tushabomwe picked a sharp knife that he used to stab the deceased twice in the neck killing him instantly.
