Timothy Ruhweza, a former district youth councilor
and now district speaker admit that the machine has never been of any value to
the youths ever since it was donated.
He is, however, optimistic that
the youth would benefit from the machine
following a council resolution last year allowing a private person to hire the
machine and pay a monthly fee to the youth.

Gideon Ruta, the former Kabarole
district Gender Secretary, says that the youths failed to utilize the machine when it was delivered due to
missing parts. He, however, says that even when the parts were later delivered, the youths still failed to
utilize the machine.
Edinali Kwikiriza, the Kabarole Male Youth district councilor, says that
they expect the machine to start working following their resolution to hire it
to a private entrepreneur last year. Kwikiriza says that the private
user will pay the council Shillings 300,000 monthly for using the machine.
